Senior Product Manager - Amazon Shopping Videos (September 2022 - Present)

 

Senior Manager, Product - CNN+ (July 2021 - Present)

  • Collaborated with 100+ team members across Design, Content, Engineering, Marketing, Research, and Senior Leadership teams to launch CNN+, CNN’s Direct-to-consumer streaming product.

  • Responsible for hiring and managing 2 direct reports focused on content discovery experiences that drive deeper subscriber engagement.

  • Led product development for core features cross-platform including search, watchlist, continue watching and live programming.

  • Worked as the proxy for our Vice President of Product during a 2 month parental leave which involved managing a team of 10 product managers, and representing product in leadership and all hands meetings.

Director, Product - Food Network Kitchen (August 2019 - Present)

  • Collaborated with 75+ team members across Design, Editorial, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Research, and Senior Leadership teams to launch Food Network Kitchen, Discovery’s first Direct-to-Consumer subscription offering for the Food Network brand.

  • Established and grew a subscriber audience by launching new premium feature offerings such as Meal Planning, Live and On-Demand Cooking Classes, and recipe enhancements.

  • Presented product vision for high impact initiatives to the senior Discovery DTC leadership team for feedback and approval.

  • Worked with the Director of Operations to establish product frameworks and processes to be used across the Product Management team to manage development through discovery, delivery, and post launch evaluation phases.

  • Mentored Product Managers and directly managed Product Interns around user centric product development as well as career development.

  • Led the integration of product marketing and research tools to track organic and paid media campaigns as well as communicate with customers via email, push and in-app message campaigns.

Senior Product Manager - Food Network In the Kitchen (May 2017-August 2019)

  • Product owner of the Food Network In the Kitchen apps on iOS, Android, and Apple TV.

  • Continuously delivered biweekly product improvements to customers that led to an 862% increase in video plays and 42% increase in visits year over year.

  • Relied heavily on user research learnings that came out of surveys, in-person & remote qualitative research sessions, ethnography studies, and immersive design sprints to set product direction.
